Fixating the fragmented self: IMPRINTS publications about identity management

21 Jan 2013

In the latest issue of the academic journal Media, Culture and Society, a whole section is devoted to new developments around identity management. The section was compiled and edited by IMPRINTS’ principal investigator Liesbet van Zoonen and has contributions about biometrics, medical screening, and RFID implants, focusing particularly on the question what all of these mean for our private sense of self, and for the way governments and the corporate sector position us as citizens and consumers respectively. Contributing authors are Aaron Martin, Edgar Whitley, Miriam Lips, Shoshana Magnet, Katina Michael and MG Michael.
